Terms and Conditions

Terms of Sale:

A limited warranty applies to all pre-owned equipment. Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars. Freight Charges are the responsiblity of the customer. EPC reserves the right to assess a 20% restocking fee for all product cancelled after receipt of Purchase Order. Buyer grants to Seller a purchase money security interest in the Equipment in the amount of the sales price. This interest will be released and title will pass from the Seller to Buyer upon receipt of payment of the sale price in full. If you pay by credit card, you agree to pay the total amount as stated on the Sales Invoice, according the the CARD ISSUER AGREEMENT.  EPC reserves the right to cancel or modify any order at any time;  including but not limited to orders deemed as fraud or with any item or item attribute including price created in error or other malfunction.

All items sold on the EPC Deals website are covered under our warranty policy. If an item you ordered has an issue please contact Customer Support. Customer Support will help with any issue including:

  • Hardware Failure
  • Missing Parts (RAM, HD, ROM, AC Adapters, etc.)
  • Cosmetic Issues (Not mentioned in product page)
  • Order Issues (Payment, Shipping, Processing)

We will do our best to make your experience as painless as possible. If your item(s) need to be returned for replacement or refund, EPC Deals will send you a return services label to affix to box to cover the return shipping. The replacement or refund will be processed upon receipt of the item(s). Refunds will be paid in the same method as payment was received.

Warranty Policy:

For USED Items:

30-Day Warranty applies on all used equipment (*except as noted below), and covers return or replacement for any reason other than user initiated failure. Warranty term begins on date that shipping documents show item as being delivered, or date order was picked up.

*Used Laptop computers carry a 7 day satisfaction guarantee, during which time they can be exchanged or returned for any reason other than user initiated failure. Furthermore, used laptop computers come with a 30-Day warranty from the date of purchase against product defects, (with the exception of the battery) with the remedy during that time being either repair, or replacement for an identical or similar product. (at EPC's sole discretion)

For NEW Items:

The first 30 days of the warranty period, the product is eligible for return or exchange for any reason other than user initiated failure. In general, a Manufacturer Warranty will apply for all new equipment. Details regarding those warranties can be collected from the specified manufacturer. Warranty term begins on date that shipping documents show item as being delivered, or date order was picked up.

For Items Sold ASIS:

No warranty of any kind is expressed or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.

Refunds and Exchanges:

All refunds and exchanges must be accompanied by an original receipt.

Items returned must be in original condition, including all original accessories and/or applicable documentation. A 20% restocking fee will be charged on all items not meeting this criteria. Any new merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned; it may only be exchanged for the same product.

The item returned will be credited to the original payment method, with the exception being items paid in cash in excess of $100, in which case a check will be issued for the proper amount. Payments made by check will be refunded by mail no sooner than 10 business days after the original purchase date.

Operating System Policy:

EPC is a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher. Computers pre-loaded with a Windows operating system follow Microsoft's licensing guidelines for refurbished machines. See Microsoft's Refurbisher Programs for more information.

EPC will recommend the operating system based on the specifications of the product in relation to the guidelines set by the Microsoft Registered Refurbisher program. Operating systems included are: Windows 7 Professional 32 and 64-bitl, and Windows 7 Home Premium 32 and 64-bit. The product price includes the operating system price when eligible. You may remove any operating system options in your shopping cart prior to checkout.

Some systems and notebooks do not have the option to have an operating system pre-installed at the time of purchase. For instance, systems missing integral parts may not qualify to have an operating system pre-installed. Also, our refurbishing agreement with Microsoft only allows us to install Windows on systems that have specific Certicates of Authenticity (COAs) as purchased by the original owner from the original manufacturer.

Please note, just because EPC cannot install an operating system on a product does not mean that you cannot legally install an operating system of your choice, or that the hardware itself is incapable of running an operating system.

Some systems and notebooks already have an operating system loaded. When an operating system is already installed on a system you will not have the option to change or remove that operating system through the website because we already paid for the license that is installed.  These units will be clearly marked so eliminate confusion.

A limited number of units will be loaded with the Nexradix version of the Linux operating system.   These systems will also be clearly marked.  If you are interested in having nexradix installled on your computer please contact us and we will work with you to get the OS loaded.

Order Processing / Shipping:

Orders will normally be shipped between 1 - 3 business days from the time it was placed. A confirmation email will be sent after your order has been placed that will indicate your estimated shipping date. After we have processed and shipped your products, you will receive another email indicating your tracking number(s).

Here are a few of the factors used to determine the estimated shipping date for all orders:

  • Volume of orders received
  • Quantity of items on the order
  • Type of items on the order
  • Items that requirte extra processing including the loading of operating system
  • Time of day order is received
  • Holidays or other scheduled closures of EPC

 Back Orders or Missing Products

EPC will not back order any product(s). Any product on an order that is unable to be fulfilled will be removed and a refund will be provided if applicable.
